This morning I was greeted by the sound of the city grinding the stump of a boulevard tree that had been cut down last summer. The timing was great, because over the weekend I had bought some mulch but hadn't bought nearly enough. So in the spirit of a staycation focused on deals - here was a deal on mulch - free already delivered.
