The Minnesota State Government shut Pip down, so instead of a vacation, we are having a staycation using the Chinook Book as our guide to culinary delight.

Something I've Always Wondered
At May Day this morning, Pip asked "Why do some people choose to set their background to black with white text? As if that actually makes the screen easier to look at ?!"
OK - I'm open to reconsidering my position on this matter. Given my terrible eye sight, maybe I should do a complete 180 and switch my screen settings.
Mr. Huber - do you happen to have links to any of those studies?

ReplyDeleteActually, studies have shown that for screens white text on black backgrounds results in both lower eye strain and better reading retention.
