After lunch we headed over to Calhoun Square, and as we had a coupon for Bay Street Shoes, we stopped in to browse. The coupon is for $20 off a purchase of $80 or more - pretty good coupon. Kate was unsuccessful in her shoe shopping, but I found a nice pair of Kenneth Cole shoes on sale for $85 - perfect.
When we went to check out, the assistant promptly informed us the coupon was only good for regularly priced merchandise. It was in the fine print. I didn't buy the shoes. Lesson learned - always read the fine print.
On the flip side, this was our first trip to Calhoun Square since the big remodel and I was mostly impressed with the updates.
